We will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning and take you to the airport for a one and a half hour flight to Trabzon. Once you arrive, we will pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel in Trabzon. You will have the rest of the evening free.
We will pick you up from your hotel at 9:00 AM and begin a full day tour of Uzungol. Our first stop will be in the town of Surmene, which is known for for making knives. We will visit a knife artisan bazaar. Next, we will stop at a horse farm in Caykara. From there, we will go to Uzungol and stop for lunch. After lunch, we will have some free time before driving back to Trabzon. Once we arrive, we will take you back to your hotel.
We will pick you up from your hotel at 9:00 AM and depart for a full day tour of Ayder. We will stop in Rize and see where tea is made. Next, we will go to Flirtina Valley where you will have the option to go river rafting. Then, we will stop for lunch on Ayder Mountain and enjoy the spectacular view. After lunch, we will have some free time. Then, we will drive back to Trabzon and drop you at your hotel.
We will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast and take you to the airport for a two hour flight back to Istanbul. Once you arrive, we will pick you and take you to your hotel.
We had the chance to visit a serene and stunning lake, surrounded by peaceful forests. The tour also included a stop at a horse farm in Caykara, which was truly charming. Spending time with the horses made the experience even more unforgettable. Another highlight was the lunch in Uzungol — not only was the food delicious, but the view was absolutely breathtaking. Overall, the tour was arranged in a very professional and well-organized way.
My visit to the Surmene knife artisan bazaar was truly enlightening, as it offered me a special glimpse into the local craftsmanship. The guide accompanied and assisted me throughout the tour, making the experience even more enjoyable. I consider this trip to be a wonderful introduction to Trabzon’s cultural richness.
